It has been a damn good year.
Fall of 2011 was a little rough because I had a loss in my immediate family, I was following the wrong path in school, and hanging around with the wrong crowd.
However
I can honestly say this past spring semester has changed my life. I became much more involved with my school and future career. I really pushed myself and I am hopefully on my way to nursing school. :) I joined my sorority, Chi Omega, and I couldn’t be happier. You know, its funny because before January, I was so against the Greek system its not even funny. I didn’t understand it and I thought it was paying for friends. I was so wrong. It has been the experience of my life, and I can’t wait for recruitment in the fall and finding out even more about how Greek life works. :)
I’ve spent the past few hours looking at forums and videos about my school and I am just so glad I am here. My dream school was UCF, and I got in, but at the last minute I chose FGCU and I couldn’t be happier. Everyone is so close and so proud to be an Eagle.
Orientation starts in days and I am just so excited. Working at the information desk at my school during orientation is so much fun because even though I am not a part of the wonderful orientation program, I still meet hundreds of students and get to talk about how much I love FGCU.
I guess this is just my way of saying I am so happy with where I am right now and SO happy and proud to be an Eagle.
